ESELTJIESRUS DONKEY SANCTUARY
As an artist I have always hoped to tell a story through my paintings. Donkeys have featured in every one of my exhibitions since I started painting in 2010. I learnt about Eseltjiesrus , a donkey sanctuary in Mc Gregor and decided to help through my paintings.
When the plight of the donkey became even more serious in the beginning of this year with the trade in donkey skins I decided to do a big drive for Eseltjiesrus as part of my exhibition at Art in the Park 2017. I had 15 different prints done on little wooden blocks and am donating all the proceeds from these sales in total to Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary.
